JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has announced an additional capacity to the national grid.
The addition of Kusile Power Station's Unit 6 has added 800 megwatts to the grid.
Eskom say this is a key milestone in the power utility's strategic objective of adding 2,500MW of new capacity to the grid by March 2025.
However, Eskom Spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena says this development does not mean the end of blackouts or loadshedding.
