JOHANNESBURG - Stellenbosch University's Social Justice Chair Professor Thuli Madonsela is urging youth partaking in Monday's national shutdown to be cautious of the law and not sell their future.
Madonsela says youth's right to demonstrate shouldn't equate to violence.
At the same time, 87 protesters have been arrested in the past 15 hours for public-violence-related offences.
They are said to have been participating in the National Shutdown.
The arrests have been made by the National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure.
