R950K grants on offer for FinTech studies

CAPE TOWN - US NPO, the  Interledger Foundation, is offering bursaries for open source financial technologies.

It's part of its NextGen Higher Education Programme.

Bursaries of almost a million rand are up for grabs in open source payment systems and open fintech.

UCT's Financial Innovation Hub General Manager, Lindiwe Kers says this programme helps students to collaborate and network with leaders in the FinTech industry.
