JOHANNESBURG - The Road Accident Fund is calling authorities to ramp up road safety awareness programmes.

43.5% of the claims received by the fund in the past five years were from people aged between 15-35.
The Fund makes this plea as parliament's Standing Committee on Public Accounts launches an inquiry into the fund's finances.
