Restore the Power Grid | Gauteng energy response plan in motion

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng's Energy Response Plan is in motion. 

City power has unveiled a recommissioned open gas turbine at the John Ware substation as part of the plan to address the province's electricity crisis.

The plant, will start generating 50 MW of electricity into the grid and assist in efforts to mitigate the impact of rolling blackouts.
