SA housing crisis | Department allocated R33.15bn in 2024/25

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is facing a significant housing backlog, but the government is making efforts to provide houses for people.

Finance made available to the Human Settlement Department will allow it to allocate grants to provinces and municipalities for the implementation of housing subsidy programmes.
