JOHANNESBURG - Some good news for consumers as the inflation outlook is improved.
Last year inflation averaged 3.2 percent, close to the Bank’s 3percent target.
While temporary factors pushed prices higher toward the end of the year, the Bank sees price pressures easing and even reaching record lows.
