CAPE TOWN - The elephant seal who lost his way in Gordon's Bay on Tuesday has been safely returned to the ocean.
He made waves on social media when he stopped traffic on Sir Lowry's Pass, nearly one kilometre inland.
What ensued was a nine-hour-long rescue mission to get him back home.
