CAPE TOWN - Witnesses who are testifying before the Madlanga Commission and Parliament's ad hoc committee continue to worry about their safety.
President Cyril Ramaphosa says government is expediting measures to protect whistleblowers.
"We cannot accept that those who speak out against corruption are victimised, targeted and killed," he said.
"The Whistleblower Protection Bill will be introduced in Parliament. Among other things, this will criminalise retaliation and provide psychosocial, legal and financial support to whistleblowers."
