South Africans more confident about finances

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa’s financial confidence has reached its highest point in three years.

That's according to the latest Sanlam Financial Confidence Index.

The national score has climbed from 47 to 53, signalling a growing sense of control among households.

But while optimism is on the rise, many South Africans still struggle to turn that confidence into sustainable financial action.
