Tshwane suspends officials over Rooiwal tender

PRETORIA - Amid the Rooiwal tender storm, the City of Tshwane has swung the axe by suspending five senior officials following their guilty verdict on one of four charges. 

As discussions continue regarding whether to suspend them without pay, the metro is actively exploring avenues to challenge the outcome in the Labour Court. 

The officials will remain suspended, pending the review ruling at the Labour Court.
