UFH protests | Committee believes violent protests were avoidable

GQERBEHA - After assessing the events that preceded violent protests at the University of Fort Hare, the portfolio committee on higher education believes the ugly scenes could have been avoided.

After last week's oversight visit, the committee wants the university council to take some responsibility.
