Unpacking the 21st Annual Nelson Mandela Memorial Lecture

JOHANNESBURG - Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai delivered the 21st Annual Nelson Mandela Memorial Lecture on the tenth anniversary of his death.

She paid tribute to Mandela as a resilient fighter who stood for what was right regardless of circumstances.

She says she drew inspiration from Tata Madiba, as a young girl in Pakistan whose right to education was being threatened by the Taliban.
