WASHINGTON - The United Nations is running out of money, and coffers may be empty by as early as July.
It's urging member states to start paying their dues.
The United States owes the most, with billions of dollars in arrears.
But it’s unlikely the Trump Administration will fork over the cash.
The body will have to let go of more staff and will be unable to pay vendors.
That jeopardises its missions of peace and security, human rights and sustainable development.
