WATCH | ANC picks Lesufi to lead Gauteng

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC in Gauteng has hand-picked its provincial chairperson, Panyaza Lesufi to take over from the outgoing Premier, David Makhura.

Makhura resigned on Tuesday after 8 years of service.

Lesufi, who is also the education MEC, is expected to be elected Premier.

Now it's all eyes on Lesufi as he forms his new Cabinet.
