WATCH | Crime In SA | Residents start crime awareness campaign

NEW BRIGHTON, EC- Communities of the Eastern Cape are on a mission to turn the tide on crime.

Residents of New Brighton are saying enough is enough and have decided to stand up against criminal elements in their area.

Part of their strategy was to identify the perpetrators of crime in the community and develop an awareness programme.  

They have found out that young people between the ages of 16 and 19 are being recruited to carry out acts criminality.
