JOHANNESBURG - Residents in the King Cetshwayo District Municipality in Richards Bay have been dealing with multiple challenges, such as a lack of water and electricity supply and bad roads.

The town is home to one of the country's biggest ports.

Hundreds of coal trucks descend on the town daily, getting coal to the deep-water port.

The increase in the number of trucks is attributed to the deterioration of rail infrastructure, primarily due to sabotage.
