WATCH | Google to start blocking data tracking cookies

JOHANNESBRUG - Google has introduced a new feature in the Chrome browser which changes how companies track users online.

It essentially blocks third-party cookies which collect analytic data, enabling personalised online ads.

At the moment it's available to 1 percent or 30 million users worldwide.

However, there are plans for a full rollout later this year.
