JOHANNESBURG - The education sector hopes for a better budget when Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana delivers his speech on Wednesday.
In his State of the Nation Address, President Cyril Ramaphosa said that to end poverty and develop the economy, every young person needs quality education.
General Secretary of the South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU), Zwelinzima Vavi said, "For 30 years government has put pressure or the principals to produce best matric results and completely ignoring the fact that we are losing kids."
