WATCH | Maselspoort case postponed to February

 

JOHANNESBURG - Three men arrested for an alleged racist attack in Maselspoort on Christmas Day were back in court on Wednesday.

That case has been postponed to February for further investigation.

The accused face charges of assault and crimen injuria for allegedly attacking two teenage boys.

The third suspect also faces a charge of attempted murder.

He was captured on video allegedly trying to drown one of the boys.

The incident sparked global outrage and anger among South Africans, the government, and political parties.
