WATCH | Minister Gungubele talks on Postbank and digital literacy

JOHANNESBURG - The Postbank is now a state-owned commercial bank.

That’s after President Cyril Ramaphosa gazetted the move to create a new banking controlling company.

The new bank will render financial and banking services by offering lending facilities through the Post Office's existing infrastructure and other means of delivery.  

Communications and Digital Technologies Minister Mondli Gungubele spoke to eNCA.
