WATCH | NW municipality still hunted by VBS scandal

JOHANNESBURG - Dr. Ruth Segomotsi Mompati municipality in the North West province,
is still feeling the effects of its failed investment in the now defunct VBS Bank.

COSATU in the province says that is one of the reasons why the municipality, is unable to complete a waste water treatment plant.

COSATU also claims the Department of water and Sanitation has refused to allocate additional funds for the project.
