PRETORIA - Easter is a period of heightened activity at South Africa’s border posts.

More than a million people are expected to be crossing in and out of the country’s ports of entry, providing criminals with a window of opportunity activity.

To combat this, the Border Management Authority is deploying 400 additional junior guards to assist law enforcement agencies.
