WATCH | Tshwane to learn water security from other African cities

PRETORIA - Reliable water supply has been compounded by South Africa's energy crisis,
and this problem is predicted to get worse in future.

That's if the country's outdated ,poor infrastructure is not overhauled. Capetonians are familiar with the threat of running out of water, having faced day zero a while back.

It's a scenario the city of Tshwane hopes to avoid. They're set to host a water safe discussion with other cities, including Accra, Nairobi, Lagos and Dakar on how they've managed to deal with supply issues.

eNCA reporter Theodor Mashele has the details.
