WATCH | Violent crimes getting out of control

CAPE TOWN - Violent crimes that most South Africans fear most have increased dramatically every year.
And as we head into the festive season, there are concerns that we'll see a hike in crimes such as murder and robbery.

Recent crime statistics show a spike in the second quarter of the year, with Johannesburg, Cape Town and eThekwini reporting more crimes.
