Winde releases ombudsman's report on gang infiltration

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Premier Alan Winde has released a police ombudsman's report on allegations that gangs had infiltrated law enforcement.

The ombudsman was asked to probe allegations that police officials were colluding with gangs.

The investigation started at the end of October 2022, but further allegations of this criminal infiltration of the police continue to be probed.
