Women's legal centre wants to hold government accountable for GBV

CAPE TOWN - As we observe 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children, the Women's Legal Centre is taking a different approach in holding the government accountable, in its effort to end domestic violence.

We spoke to the Women's Legal Centre to find out find out how they are planning to force the state to act on their recommendations.

We were joined by Advocate Bronwyn Pithey who is leading the right to be free from violence programme. We also spoke to Andrea-Joy Jantjies who is a candidate attorney, working on all programmes at the Women's Legal centre.
