JOHANNESBURG - Specialist investigator, Mike Bolhuis says Bester is well connected and has money, which could make it very easy for him to leave the country.
He says that despite the manhunt for Bester and Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, they could very well be out of the country already.

Bolhuis said, "he's extremely connected and also very well-known and he is very rich. The newest information we have is that he's still in possession of a lot of money, which makes it very easy for him to move around and go wherever he wants to."
"He's also changed his image, he has grown hair and changed his look completely and the same with Dr Nandipha, they are working together and escaping together still fleeing every possible identification and they are watching the news."
"It is our own opinion that they might be one of the neighboring countries already, however, all the border control posts have been notified and they are all looking for him, all security firms are looking for him, the public, especially those he had scammed are also after him."
"The government is after him, the correctional services is after him, G4S is after him. The national hunt is underway and everybody in the media is writing and exposing this case."
