Crime expert Jacob Mofokeng says the body found in his cell should have not been released until the forensic process was concluded.

He said, "You cannot release a crime scene until all parties are satisfied and they discuss amongst themselves about thecollection of the evidence until the evidence are coming from lab... conclusive evidence, and indeed, all the other aspects are covered [including] physical evidence..."

"In this case we can see that the person was already died when the fire was set alight. The report said, the person died of a blunt object."

"There was supposed to be an agreement among the parties, stakeholders to say that: to release this particular body, call close relatives like the mother, take a DNA to check."

"There were clear inconsistencies of the evidence."
