JOHANNESBURG - Cabinet has finished collecting input on the Budget, which has been postponed over a VAT-hike dispute.
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana will now select from discussed options before tabling the Budget on Wednesday next week.
Cabinet says he must balance the country's fiscal constraints against the impact on poor and middle-class households. All this while supporting economic growth.
Cabinet held a special meeting for the second time yesterday to deliberate on the Budget.
National Treasury is now finalising it before it's tabled before Parliament.
