JOHANNESBURG - A pilot's strike at FlySafair could last for at least two weeks.
Pilots affiliated with Solidarity voted in favour of the mass action.
The trade union gave the carrier a one-day strike notice.
But, FlySafair hit back with a notice that it would lock out the pilots for seven days.
Solidarity has now extended its strike notice to 14 days.
The CCMA says it's willing to mediate on the matter, but Solidarity claims FlySafair is not willing to participate.
Over 200 pilots are demanding a 10 percent salary bump.
The airline is offering 5.7 percent.
