FlySafair promises no disruptions to operations

JOHANNESBURG - FlySafair insists the looming pilots' strike will not cripple its operations.

Workers affiliated with Solidarity will not fly on Monday, but this could be extended for 14 days.

It comes as wage talks between the union and the carrier deadlocked.

Pilots are demanding a 10.5 percent increase while FlySafair is offering 5.7 percent.
