FlySafair pilots set to boycott cockpit over wages

PRETORIA - Solidarity was planning a pilot's strike for one day on Monday against FlySafair.

However, the union says it’s extending that action to two-weeks.

The pilots have a wage dispute with their employer after the members rejected a 5.7% increase.

Spokesperson for Solidarity, Helgard Cronje says this is in response to the low-cost airline’s announcement of a seven day lockout of its pilots.
