JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says it's all systems go for the G20 leaders' summit at Nasrec this month.
Lesufi says infrastructure-related issues have been resolved in preparation for the event, while dry runs to ensure full readiness have also been conducted.
He said, "We come to you today to boldly declare that Gauteng is ready to host the G20 Leaders Summit from 22-23 November."
"We've brought together a number of stakeholders, including national government, local government, taxi industry, in preparation for the event."
"The Gauteng Provincial government can now formally declare its readiness to host the prestigious event that will be held at the Nasrec Expo Center."
