JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is positioning itself as a major player in the global shift to clean energy.
The government said its green hydrogen ambitions go beyond energy exports. They are about reshaping the country's industrial future.
At the World Hydrogen Summit, Trade Minister Parks Tau announced the country is seeking billions in international investment to fund large-scale clean energy projects.
Tau said the nation aims to attract global capital, technology transfers, and industrial partnerships to help decarbonise local industries and create new export opportunities for green products.
