Cost of living crisis | 'Filling up' empties consumers' pockets

JOHANNESBURG - Most South Africans dread the first week of every month.

That's because we find out if we'll be emptying our pockets to fill our tanks.

Unfortunately, we've been doing a lot of emptying recently.

Increased fuel prices also have the dreaded knock-on effect on food and goods prices.

This is forcing consumers to make some difficult choices.
