JOHANNESBURG - FlySafair's proposed takeover has cleared a regulatory hurdle.
The Competition Commission has recommended the approval of infrastructure investor Harith's acquisition of the airline.
But there's a condition.

Harith must ensure all airlines are treated fairly at Lanseria International Airport, where it also has an ownership interest.
The watchdog says the deal must not give FlySafair an unfair advantage over rival airlines.
FlySafair has welcomed the recommendation, calling it a positive step in the regulatory process.
The airline has been under pressure to make a deal with a local bidder following legal battles about its foreign ownership.
