Transnet puts Carlton Centre, Umlazi Mega City on sale

JOHANNESBURG - Transnet is moving ahead with the sale of 15 non-core properties across South Africa, as it works to improve its financial position and focus on core transport and logistics operations.

The state-owned logistics company has started the process of selling these properties.

Government departments, municipalities and other state entities will have the first opportunity to acquire or lease the assets. They have 30 days to express interest.
