JOHANNESBURG - Four years ago, the unthinkable happened.

COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic on 11 March 2020 and the entire world was put on lockdown.

In South Africa, a lock down was announced on the 26th of March. 

It was pandemonium as equity markets went into freefall over the uncertainty.
