HAMMANSKRAAL - Water laced with faeces is what some residents of Themba in Hammanskraal are forced to live with.

The municipality has cleared the Rooiwal Wastewater Treatment Plant as the source of the cholera outbreak.

Authorities are working around the clock to determine the exact cause of the outbreak.

The City of Tshwane is now roping in the CSIR, the Water Institute of South Africa and the Medical Research Council as it scrambles to find the source of contamination.
