Hammanskraal residents bear financial brunt of buying bottled water

PRETORIA - Hammanskraal residents say buying bottled water every day is a luxury they simply can't afford.

The area is the epicentre of a cholera outbreak that has killed at least 22 people while two other victims died in the Free State.

They want the government to urgently trace the source of the outbreak.

Meanwhile, nursing union, Denosa, says it is concerned over short staffing at the Jubilee District Hospital where dozens of ill residents are being treated.
