Cupid and his bow
English poem by: Raeesa Saint
Theme: Love
He came into her world and knocked her off her feet.
Like a puzzle’s final piece, he made her complete.
She knows she isn’t perfect, but he makes her feel as though she is.
She does the same for him; for he is hers, and she is his.
The odds may be against them, the world not on their side,
But they love each other through it all, with a fierce, ferocious pride.
A love like that is meant to last; after all, how could it not
when their hearts were pierced by Cupid, with a perfect arrow shot?
