Kruger on alert for extreme weather as drought looms

Authorities are now bracing for a potentially severe drought, with a strong El Niño weather pattern expected to bring challenging conditions this summer.

SANParks says it is now having to prepare for increasingly unpredictable weather while balancing the needs of tourists, staff and wildlife.
