JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has approved a Special Provincial Official funeral for music legend Babsy Mlangeni.
The Gauteng Provincial Government announced this on Friday, following his death on 2 October.
Mlangeni died at the age of 83.

Blind since childhood, Mlangeni found his place music. As a guitarist, composer, songwriter and singer, he built a remarkable career that spanned decades.
His memorable songs included Bua Nnete, Sala Emma Botsotso and Umadlembathini, becoming part of the soundtrack of generations.
Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi is expected to visit the Mlangeni to pay tribute.
