CAPE TOWN - The festive season is around the corner, and thousands of people will be flocking to the Mother City to visit its iconic attractions.
SANParks officials say they are ready to receive, welcome and provide safety for local and international visitors.
They also expect a bumper festive season, with over 1.7 million people having visited Table Mountain National Park since April.
Increased SAPS, park rangers, as well as air, sea and mountain safety teams will be keeping an eye on things as visitors enjoy this world-class experience.
Visitors enjoy free access to most of Table Mountain National Park.
The rest of the parks managed by SANParks have what’s called a differentiated fee structure.
South Africans enjoy the cheapest entrance fees, but you must show your ID.
