Over 2000 people are descending on Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, to attempt a Guinness World Record for the most people braaing at the same time.

This name reflects the mission of the University of Pretoria's Ovuwa Cultural Ensemble to preserve, and celebrate South Africa’s cultural and musical heritage.

Founded by comedian-turned-chef Chris Forrest, it takes place next month at the Fire & Wine Venue in Zwavelpoort, just outside Pretoria.
