CAPE TOWN - A plaque in memory of three submariners who died at sea two years has been unveiled in Simon’s Town.
Lieutenant Commander Gillian Hector, Warrant Officer Class One Lucas Mojela, and Master Warrant Officer William Mathipa died while performing a transfer from a helicopter to their submarine.
The chief of the South African Navy says their legacies will live on.
