Authorities sound alarm on reckless driving

JOHANNESBURG - Authorities have sounded the alarm over reckless driving after several recent incidents on the country’s roads.

Over the Easter weekend, motorists were seen occupying extra lanes of oncoming traffic on the busy N1, both northbound and southbound.

Officials warn that this behaviour shows a growing disregard for road safety and traffic laws.
