Speaking to eNCA, some of the assaulted learners said they were not even late.
Others said that when they asked why they were being punished, they did not get answers and were instead beaten.
The Education Department says it is aware of the assault and has engaged the school management.
Psycho-social support has been sent to the school for the learners who were allegedly assaulted by private security.
A meeting with MEC Lebogang Maile will be held at the school to address the incident.
