GQEBERHA - March and March has vowed to return to the Home Affairs offices in Gqeberha on Tuesday, as tensions over immigration continue.
The protest movement wants Home Affairs to stop serving foreign nationals and says undocumented immigrants should leave the country. However, foreign nationals say they are being harassed and intimidated.

One Somali national who visited the offices on Monday says the group’s actions have left foreign nationals feeling threatened.
Security has been heightened following last week’s clashes, with police and other law enforcement officials monitoring the situation.

March and March says it is frustrated that the offices remain open to foreign nationals. The group claims a national decision was taken to pause asylum applications and says its concerns are being ignored.
But activists warn that frustration over immigration must not translate into intimidation or violence against people because of their nationality.
